Cancellieri's Surprising Presence
A single player remained positive through it. Matteo Cancellieri wasn't originally meant to remain with Lazio this year. He spent the previous campaign at Parma as a loanee and, during the summer break, his owning club were advocating for him to stay there a while longer. The transfer ban forced a rethink. Perhaps the manager was still trying to identify the nature of Cancellieri's abilities.
